It’s not the passing of time. It’s suddenly recognizing that a part of your life is behind you, locked away, and you can never go there again.
I’ve uploaded a bunch of photos from our days in Cape Town.
In April, Lena and I spent some time in Pilanesberg, a game reserve in South Africa. I’ve uploaded a selection of the far too many photos I shot there.
In the cold and dark of December we escaped to spend a week on Madeira. I’ve uploaded a handful of photos from our time there.
Here it is – the final set of pictures from our road trip through the United States. The second half of the last week, still in New York.
For the last week of the road trip we flew from Louisiana to New York. These are the pictures from the first half of that week.
In the second half of week five of our US road trip, we rented another car. We drove through Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama, and stayed a few days in Florida.
In week five of the roadtrip we left the car and flew to New Orleans. It was hot, humid and a different world from the US we had travelled through so far.
This summer we spent a couple of weeks in Bavaria (Germany) and Innsbruck (Austria). As always I shot a lot of pictures. Here are a few of them.
When week four started we moved on from Arizona into Utah, and then into Colorado. I ended up taking quite a lot of pictures in Colorado, with plenty of shots from the Rocky Mountains and Pikes Peak.
